Kale chips may help you beat the crunchies!

Mid-afternoon on a sunny Denver, CO Monday, I found myself craving something salty and crunchy...such as chips! But as I thought about my potential devastating choice to snack on chips or calorie laden crackers, I made a better choice...kale chips!

After finding this recipe on allrecipes.com, I was ready to get cookin'! I made a few modifications but kept true to most of the recipe. Here's how I modified the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups pre-washed, pre-cut Kale
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • sprinkle of garlic salt
  • sprinkle of paprika
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large plastic bag, mix all ingredients so that all of the kale is coated in olive oil and seasonings. Spray large cookie dish with non-stick spray. Evenly lay out all of the kale. Bake for 15-20 minutes, tossing kale halfway through. Enjoy!
